1 c Butter or margarine

1/2 c Sugar

3/4 c Molasses or dark corn syrup

1 Egg

1 ts Vanilla extract

3/4 c Flour

1/2 c Cocoa

1/2 ts Baking soda

Red frosting in tube Green frosting in tube In large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in molasses, egg and vanilla. Combine flour, cocoa and baking soda. Stir into butter mixture until well blended. Chill 1 hour. On a lightly floured surface, roll dough into a 12 x 15 inch oblong. Cut into 12 3 x 5 inch oblongs. Place on greased cookie sheets. Bake in 350 degree oven 10-12 minutes or until firm to the touch. Cool on cookie sheets. Write names or greetings on cookies. Makes 12 cookies -----
